The Mandela Effect is a Satanic psy-op deception that leverages our collective false memories against us to claim that we’ve entered an alternate universe. This deception extends to pop culture as well as to the words of the King James Bible.

For example, in the epic battle between Darth Vader and Luke in Star Wars did Vader say: “Luke, I am your father” or did he say, “No, I am your father”?

Is Thanksgiving the 3rd Thursday of every November or the 4th?

In the King James Bible, does the term, “The lion will lie down with the lamb” appear anywhere in Scripture? Or will the “wolf” and the “lamb” dwell together?

The answers may surprise you.

SERMON NOTES

THE MANDELA EFFECT DECEPTION

Let me begin with a Bible verse, Psalm 119:89: “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”

And the reason why I picked this verse, is that I’m refuting one of the many among the latest of so-called conspiracy theories or deceptions out there today …

… that seeks to undermine the Word of God and make us believe that it’s untrustworthy.

And this conspiracy deception is called the Mandela Effect.

The first time I heard about the MANDELA EFFECT, I dismissed it as silly & not worth addressing …

… because in reality – it’s nothing more than a fictional sci-fi/fantasy narrative …

… more in line with an old episode of Star Trek, than with Biblical doctrine.

But it kept coming up and there are some people who are actually deceived by this “cunningly devised fable”.

And they are using it to attack the King James Bible, so now it comes into our domain and must be refuted.

WHAT IS THE MANDELA EFFECT?

The Mandela Effect is the concept that we have entered into an alternative reality, a parallel universe …

… that a multi-dimensional shift has occurred and the universe as we know it, has changed.

Now, first of all, if that were true, and history has been altered, then we wouldn’t even be here talking about, because we ourselves are a part of that changed reality …

… a part of this timestream, and we would never notice the difference. We would just go on as though nothing has changed.

… But they claim that there’s been a glitch in the matrix of the universe, and that certain clues are being left behind that prove the Mandela Effect.

And some are even attributing this to CERN, saying that the people at CERN have gone back in time and created splinters in time.

They claim that the Mandela Effect has even effected the pure words of God contained in the King James Bible.

But the Mandela Effect is reality about that people simply can’t come to grips with the fact that they’ve misremembered certain events.

… and instead of admitting to being wrong, they attribute their shared false memories to a Satanic psy-op known as the Mandela Effect.

So I want to have some fun with this today, and begin by giving you examples of some of the changes that have supposedly taken place in this reality.

Let’s begin w/ the biggest movie example:

(And you’ll notice that all of these example are from popular culture, things that we would have all misremembered together).

• In the original Star Wars, for example …

… at the epic battle between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, did Darth Vader say:

“LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER.”

Or did he say, “NO, I AM YOUR FATHER.”

Well, in “our reality”, it’s “NO, I am your Father”, but in the “reality” we all grew up in, they say it was “LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER.”
[And I know some of you are already freaking out, because myself, you grew up the last 35 years thinking it was, “LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER.”]

• In the old movie the Field of Dreams, was the catch phrase throughout the movie, “If you build it, they will come” or was it, “If you build it, he will come”?

• In the peanut butter brand, is it “Jif Peanut butter” or is it “Jiffy Peanut Butter”?

This is one that people are somehow 100% convinced it has changed.

• In the chidlren’s books, BARANSTAIN BEARS, is it spelled Baranstein or Barantain? (with an a or with an e).

• Is Jerry Lewis still alive? Or did he die in 2013? (Yes, he’s still alive! He’s 90 years old this year!)

• Is Thanksgiving the 3rd Thursday of every November or the 4th Thursday of every November?

This one still messed with me. I’m still convinced … I think the Mandela Effect is true because of this one! (no, not really! I was remember Thanksgiving as the 3rd Thursday of November.)

• In the movie, Forrest Gump, did Gump say: “Life is like a box of chocolates” or did he say: “Life was like a box of chocolates”

• In “Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood” was the theme song, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” or was it “It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood.”

• The old Bugs Bunny cartoons, was it called “LOONEY TOONS” or “LOONEY TUNES”?

• In Snow White, did the evil queen say, “Mirror Mirror on the wall …” or “Magic Mirror on the wall …”

Among other things, they’re claiming geography and landmasses, that spellings of certain names and celebrity deaths and history and all kinds of things have changed.

• And they say that this shift has even effected the King James Bible.

• The biggest so-called “change” that they have in the Bible is in ISAIAH 11:6.

Now, all of you have heard the phrase, “The lion will lie down with the lamb” …

… speaking of the renewal of the Creation in Christ’s kingdom.
But that phrase, THE LION AND THE LAMB DWELLING TOGETHER, is not actually in the Bible.

IT NEVER HAS BEEN!

And, I know, again, you’re probably thinking, “I REMEMBER THAT THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT THE LION & LAMB DWELLING TOGETHER.”

But I’ll prove to you today, that if that’s how you remember it …

… you had a misconception of that passage & recorded the wrong phrase in your mind.

The MANDELA EFFECT claims that it used to be THE LION shall dwell with THE LAMB … & that this verse has been changed to “THE WOLF shall dwell with the LAMB.”

(which is the correct wording).

Here’s the full verse, from Isaiah 11:6:
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.”

And we’ll come back to this. I’m gonna let you sweat for a little while.

Another verse that they claim has changed is the Lord’s Prayer in the KJV.

They say that in the KJV, “Thy will be done ON earth as it is in heaven” has been changed to “Thy will be done IN earth as it is in heaven”.

We’ll look at some of these verses in more detail in a moment. We’re just getting started …

The Mandela Effect is yet another deception attacking the KJV.

Since KJV-only believers won’t accept the authority of the modern Bibles, Satan is using this deception to try to change the Bible w/out actually changing its words.

It’s pretty clever actually.

If they can simply get us to mistrust our Bible, then Satan’s plan has worked.

But there’s a simple explanation for all of our mis-recollections, from the movies to history to the misspellings to our fallible memories about certain Bible passages.

The MANDELA EFFECT works on COLLECTIVE DISSONANCE and SHARED FALSE MEMORIES.

For example, in the STAR WARS example that I gave …

The first time we saw the movie, we heard it correctly: “NO, I AM YOUR FATHER.”

But then we get on the playground w/ our friends … and we’re all excited about this epic moment in the movie and we all start repeating the line …

But it wouldn’t make sense if we said, “No, I am your father”, so we all changed it to: “LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER”.

And our brains recorded the misquote as the actual movie quote.

The misperception became our known reality.

This one actually messed with my mind for a good day or two, because I was one of those kids on the playground going around all day, saying, “Luke, I am your father.”

But when you look at the dialogue it doesn’t actually make sense in its context the way we remember it.

VADER: Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father.

LUKE: He told me enough … he told me you killed him.

VADER: No, I am your father.

Doesn’t that make more sense in its context then, “No, I am your father”.

This is the most misquoted movie line of all time.

“Luke, I am your father” has become such a part of pop culture that it has stuck in our collective memory that way.

And we say it that way as a phrase because it fits into any situation worded that way.

If you went to your friends on the playground at school and said, “No, I am your father”, it wouldn’t make sense out of context.

So everyone went around saying, “LUKE, I am your father …”

And this misquote has had over 30 years to ingrain itself into our collective memory and conspiracy theorists would rather believe in inter-dimensional time shifts than that we were just quoting it wrong.

• THE MANDELA EFFECT WAS STARTED by a woman named FIONA BROOM.

Fiona Broom is an author and a paranormal consultant.

Basically she’s what the Bible describes as a witch or a necromancer.

She writes books about Ghost hunting …

& one day, she came up w/ the idea during while having a conversation with someone a SCI-FI CONVENTION, DRAGON CON …

The symbolism is devilishly rich.

DRAGON CON …. The Dragon being Satan and conning everyone.

… During this conversation, FIONA BROOM claimed that she specifically remembered Nelson Mandela …

… the controversial political figure & president of South Africa …

… DIED WHILE IN PRISON.

Yet in this reality, she claims, he died years after he got out of prison (which is actually what happened!)

That’s why it’s called the Mandela effect, named after the actual Nelson Mandela.

& it started at a sci-fi convention called DRAGON CON.

But this is all a CUNNINGLY DEVISED FABLE.

2 Peter 1:16: “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.”

1 Timothy 1:4: “Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”

1 Timothy 4:7: “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.”

2 Timothy 4:4: “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

OK, so let’s get to the heart of the matter, by looking at the Bible verses that have supposedly been altered in this reality vs. the one we all grew up in.

Ultimately, the goal of the Mandela effect is to undermine the authority of the Bible and to try to convince KJV Bible-believers that God cannot preserve His Word.

But God says that HE DOES preserve His Word and that YOU CAN trust every word of God.

Isaiah 40:8 declares: “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

In Matthew 24:35, Jesus said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

In Matthew 5:18, He said: “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17:
16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

This really comes down to the credibility of God’s Word.

Do you really think that any person or being or event or force in the universe can go back in time & CHANGE GOD’S WORD?

Not even the DEVIL can change God’s Word!

God’s Word existed from the beginning and is eternal. He spoke the universe into existence by His Word.

His Word stands outside the bounds of time.

John 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

• So, let’s get into some of the specific examples from Scripture that they say has changed.

• Let’s start with the CROWNING JEWEL of the MANDELA EFFECT.

• You’ll find that it’s not actually a jewel, but a cheap copy.

THE LION WILL LIE DOWN WITH THE LAMB.

That’s their biggest deception from the KJV.

They want you to believe that God’s Word has changed.

Isaiah 11:6: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.”

Isaiah 65:25: “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.”

The misperception is that the Bible used to say “The Lion will lie down with the lamb.”

But that’s not anywhere in the Bible, in ANY VERSION.

It’s always been the WOLF & THE LAMB.

This is a reference to a REGENERATED CREATION without sin.

Animals who were formerly on opposing sides of the food chain, will now dwell peaceably together.

… But the reason we have in our collective memory the phrase, “The Lion will lie down with the lamb” is twofold:

#1 – popular Christianity has been pushing this phrase incorrectly as far as I can remember, as long as I was saved back in the 90s – and well before that.

– I’d see posters in Christian book stores all the time of a lion lying down with a lamb. These so-called Christian art prints.

– Just go to images.google.com and type in “lion lamb” in the search and you’ll finds thousands of images and artwork depicting a lion & a lamb lying together.

– Now if the Mandela Effect had taken effect, those art prints would have also changed … you’d see a wolf and a lamb, because that would be our new reality. But it hasn’t changed. It’s just that popular art depicts Isaiah 11:6 that way!

– In 1833, a painting was produced by Edward Hicks, depicting the Isaiah verse correctly.

– He had a WOLF dwelling with a LAMB a LEOPARD lying down with a KID, and a CALF and a YOUNG LION together.

– There were some other animals there too, he took some artistic license. But all in all, it was representative of Isaiah 11:6 as it really appears in the KJV.

– But 1896, as we dawn towards the 20th century, things get a little bit more relaxed …

– And a painting, called “Peace” by William Strut depicts the same scene in Isaiah 11:6 but this time the LION is NEXT TO the LAMB and the WOLF is now just behind the LAMB more in the background.

– By the time you get to the late 20th century, people get outright stupid because of all the fluoride in the water and all you see in every Christian bookstore everywhere are inaccurate art prints of a LION LYING DOWN WITH A LAMB.

– Completely unscriptural and now popular conception has totally shift from the verse in Isaiah to a Lion and a Lamb dwelling together, instead of a wolf and a lamb.

– To make matters worse, popular conception is further decayed by a song in 1937 called, “Peace in the Valley” written by Thomas Dorsey & later popularized by Elvis Presley the king himself in 1957.

– Here are a part of the lyrics:

No trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me, for me
Well the bear will be gentle
And the wolves will be tame
And the lion shall lay down by the lamb, oh yes
And the beasts from the wild
Shall be lit by a child

– Guess what else isn’t in the Bible? “LOVE THE SINNER, HATE THE SIN!”

A lot of people think that’s in the bible too! But it’s not, that’s a quote by Ghandi.

Or is it … ?

Maybe it’s the Mandela effect … !

That’s how ludicrous this gets!

Let me put the final nail in the coffin of the “LION AND THE LAMB” misconception.

THE ONLY WAY ISAIAH 11:16 makes sense … is the way it is worded in the KING JAMES BIBLE.

Isaiah 11:6: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb …

… think about that. Lions and Lambs aren’t normally adversaries in the animal kingdom. But wolves and lambs are.

The wolf is the natural predator of the lamb.

So it makes contextual sense for it to be the wolf and the lamb, not the lion and the lamb …

And it’s the same with the rest of the verse …

…. the leopard … with the kid; and the calf … w/ the young lion …

… because in the wild, lions will eat cattle … and remember Biblically, deer, antelope, (things that lions eat) are considered cattle, so a lion would be their natural predator.

So Isaiah 11:6 makes sense that way and only that way!

• ANOTHER PASSAGE they say has changed is the LORD’S PRAYER in the KJV.

Matthew 6:9-10:
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

They say it’s changed from “thy will be done ON earth” to “thy will be done IN earth”.

But, again, it’s always been “IN” earth.

This is nothing more than modern Bible version confusion.

The NIV: “your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

NLT: “May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”

ESV: “your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

NASB: “Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.”

But then you get to the King James, and its: “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Here’s another factor: in later editions of the COMMON BOOK OF PRAYER, which is a popular Anglican prayer book …

… It reads: “Thy will be done, ON earth as it is in heaven.” … again adding to the common false memory.

• ANOTHER VERSE, they say has changed is MATTHEW 7:1.

Let me quiz you again.

Does Matthew 7:1 say: “Judge not, lest ye be judged” or does it say, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”

It’s the latter.

Again, it’s a matter of popular collective misperception.

This likely started with the NASB (New American Standard Bible) published in 1977, which renders the verse: ““Do not judge LEST you be judged.”

“Judge not, lest ye be judged” is just how people like to say it. And it usually comes out of the mouth of unbelievers who don’t know the Bible.

It’s as simple as that.

• Another one they challenge is Mark 2:22 & other parallel passages: “And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

They say that it used to read “wineskins”.

And in the modern versions it does …

So this is just the permeation of the modern Bible translations, not the sci-fi mutations of the Mandela Effect.

In the language of the King James, bottles were made out of wineskins, but they were still bottles …

So you can see that the King James Bible is systematically under attack via the Mandela psy-op deception.

• Now, the main verse that they use to justify all this … because even some Bible-believing Christians are getting deceived by this.

And the verse that they use is Daniel 7:25, which reads:
“And he shall speak great words against the most High [speaking of the anti-Christ], and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

Here’s what they believe: that Satan has the power to change “times and laws” and they interpret that to mean …

… changing the physical laws of the universe along with the span of time (as in altering time itself).

And so now they claim that since we can’t trust the Bible, since it’s been changed, that we have to rely exclusively on what the Holy Spirit says to us.

• It’s kind of like the false youtube teacher, Jan Boshoff, who claims that the BIBLE is the MARK OF THE BEAST and that you can only trust the Holy Spirit. He throws out the Bible altogether!

It’s complete non-sense.

But there’s a small group of people online that are going around saying heretical things like that.

And I’m all for the Holy Spirit speaking to us and guiding us and leading us … I preached a whole sermon on that …

But the written Scriptures are always our final authority on all matters of doctrine.

• And that’s not at all what Daniel 7:25 is saying.

Daniel 7:25 is about the anti-Christ, not about Satan.

& Daniel 7:25 is not talking about changing spacetime or the laws of physics.

It’s talking about the persecution of the Saints when Anti-Christ comes on the scene.

It says the Anti-Christ will THINK TO CHANGE (as in he will attempt or purpose and plan to change the laws and the times, speaking of the laws of the nations).

…. That’s going to be his goal …

The Anti-Christ, against all institutions of man and God, is going to attempt to bring in a general spirit of lawlessness …

In order to persecute the people of God.

And he will be successful for a time …

But God Himself will stop & destroy Him by the appearance of His Son Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:8: “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

To read this passage any other way is insane!

It’s the interpretation of someone who either doesn’t have the Spirit of God or is so caught up and driven by every wind of doctrine and has no discernment whatsoever.

• The words of the King James Bible are pure words, refined 7 times …

Proverbs 12:6-7 says:
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The mandela effect is nothing but fables, fairy tales, and science falsely so called.

1 Timothy 6:20-21:
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

At the end of the day, if we don’t have God’s Word, we don’t have anything.

We have no basis of truth, no anchor for any of our doctrines, no basis for any morality, no reason to preach the Gospel, no reason to believe in life after death and the resurrection of the body …

But the Bible says in John 10:35 that: “… the scripture cannot be broken”.

That means it cannot be changed, it cannot be left unfulfilled, not one jot or one tittle can be effected by anything that this world or Satan has to offer.

God’s Word is perfect.

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Proverbs 30:5-6 says:
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
